This notice applies only to people who visit our marketing website and/or join the waitlist for Ouizami.

Waitlist data

Email address (required), name (optional), signup date/time.

Website & device data

IP address, browser/device/OS, pages viewed, referral URL; collected via server logs and analytics cookies/SDKs (see Cookies & Tracking).

• Waitlist management & communication: notify launch, early access, and product updates.
• Product/website analytics: measure aggregate interest, understand user behavior, and improve content.
• Legal/compliance and security: fraud/abuse prevention, record-keeping, incident response.

• Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for waitlist emails and non-essential cookies.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for basic site security, fraud prevention, aggregate measurement (low privacy impact), and efficient waitlist operations (e.g., measuring signup interest to inform product decisions).
• PIPEDA (Canada): we collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent and only for the purposes described here.
• CASL: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our valid postal address.

We use service providers bound by contract to protect your information:

• Hosting & infrastructure (e.g., Vercel)
• Database (e.g., Supabase)
• Email delivery/marketing (e.g., Resend, Zoho Campaigns)
• Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization; PostHog)

These providers process data only on our behalf. A current list is available on request.

Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and the EU/UK. Where required by law, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK Addendum where applicable) and vendor commitments to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Waitlist contacts

Kept until (a) you unsubscribe, (b) 60 days after Ouizami launches and you have not created an account, or (c) 24 months after our last email—whichever comes first.

Non-launch scenario

If Ouizami does not launch within 24 months, all waitlist data will be deleted unless you opt in to updates about future projects.

Backups and logs

Retained for limited operational periods, then deleted or anonymized.

Everyone:

• Unsubscribe any time via the link in our emails or by emailing support@ouizami.com
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data

EEA/UK users (GDPR):

• Rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict/object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent
• You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

California residents (CCPA/CPRA):

• We do not sell or share personal information as defined by law
• Service providers process data only on our behalf under contract
• You have rights to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We maintain incident response procedures and will notify you of breaches as required by law.

This site is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from someone under 16, please contact us.
